Leaked images show Google’s Fitbit Edge with various colors and angles. It appears to be a successor to the midrange Charge line, splitting features between the Pixel Watch and the Fitbit Air. The device has a small screen capable of displaying widgets but is not as large as a smartwatch.
The tracker reportedly offers seven days of battery life, built-in GPS, and an altimeter. It will support limited apps like Google Maps and YouTube Music. This makes it more capable than the minimalist Air while remaining distinct from larger watches.
The Charge line was last updated in 2023, so a new midrange model is overdue. Experts estimate the price between $150 and $200. The current Fitbit Air costs $99.99, the Pixel Watch starts at $399.99, and the Charge 6 sells for $159.95.
