Get ready for some gaming news. It’s officially June, which means splashy new events from PlayStation, Xbox, gaming hype man Geoff Keighley, and more.<\/p>\n

PlayStation kicked things off with a big event<\/a> that was mostly about premium single-player games like the new God of War Laufey<\/a><\/em> \u2014 a statement from PlayStation that it\u2019s getting back to what it\u2019s good at<\/a>. At Summer Game Fest Live on Friday<\/a>, the biggest news was Final Fantasy VII Revelation<\/em><\/a>, but we also got announcements of a Resident Evil: Code Veronica<\/em> remake<\/a> and a January 15th release date<\/a> for RGG Studio\u2019s Stranger Than Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Xbox\u2019s show is still to come on Sunday at 1PM ET<\/a>. But so far, one of the biggest storylines of the show has been everyone avoiding Grand Theft Auto VI<\/em>\u2019s November 19th release date, which is warping the release calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n
