HP is offering a significant discount on its Omen 35L desktop, reducing the price by $2,200 to $2,799.99 from the original MSRP of $4,999.99. This prebuilt system includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 2TB SSD, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The article notes that the RTX 5080 typically sells between $1,600 and $2,000 on its own, making this bundle a notable value for those who prefer buying a complete PC rather than building one.

The Omen 35L features a 1,000-watt fully modular power supply with 80-Plus Gold certification, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and a 240 mm AIO cooler for the CPU. The chassis holds 35 liters of space, which is described as suitable for many desks or placement on the floor. While HP has not yet reviewed this specific model, the company typically uses standardized parts that allow for easy upgrades in the future.

The Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor utilizes Zen 5 X3D architecture with eight cores and sixteen threads, running at a base clock of 4.7 GHz and a boost clock of 5.6 GHz. The RTX 5080 is identified as the fastest gaming graphics card available short of the RTX 5090. The article states that prices for high-end components like storage and RAM are expected to rise, suggesting this deal should be grabbed before it expires.
